I like to focus primarily on building backlinks. Backlinks are the most important factor in SEO. Since the beginning of the internet(even before Google), backlinks have been essential to getting found. All the other ranking factors are important, but if you can start with backlinks as a foundation, everything else will fall into place.

Brief Bio:

In 2015, After buying a house and learning how much they cost in upkeep, I started building and fixing websites for clients as a freelancer part time.I had started an art blog website (classicmodertart.com) a year prior just as a hobby and learned how to build a website through trial and error. Little did I know where this tinkering would lead me. Once I started helping my clients solve their website problems I realized that I loved building websites for my clients and troubleshooting their tech issues.

While freelancing, I learned the elements that go into creating a good website that will rank in Google as well as be helpful to the user. I learned web design, social media management, and search engine optimization (SEO) while freelancing as well. I continued to freelance while working my “day job” for about 3 years until I transitioned to working in tech full time.

Prior to working in tech, my “day job” was working as a residential mortgage banker at banks like JP Morgan Chase and Santander. I worked as a residential mortgage banker for over 10 years, helping many families achieve the dream of homeownership.

I transitioned to working in tech full time in 2018 when I started as a digital marketing consultant at Digital Mark 360. I helped small and medium sized businesses achieve crushing dominance in their niches online and was rapidly promoted to Vice President of the company. In addition, I ran our artificial intelligence applications division.

I am a banker turned tech entrepreneur because I wanted something more fun and creative that wasn’t focused solely on making money. Now, fast forward to today where I run bryan.nyc, which is a Search Engine Optimization agency that focuses on helping small and medium businesses with their online presence.
